BREAKING NEWS! Horrific accident.

A tragic accident in Manitoba, Canada, claimed the lives of at least 15 individuals on Thursday. The incident involved a bus transporting elderly passengers that collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, approximately 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg.

The bus was en route to a casino in Carberry when the crash occurred. Rob Hill, Deputy Police Officer and commander of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, confirmed that “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the collision.”

In addition to the fatalities, ten others sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Both the bus and truck drivers survived the incident, but authorities are currently investigating the cause and have yet to determine liability. Distressing images from the scene depicted broken wheelchair seats and walking frames scattered near tarpaulins covering the victims.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau extended his condolences, offering support to the families of the deceased and those injured. Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson also expressed her heartfelt sympathies to those affected.

This incident marks one of the deadliest accidents in Canada’s recent history. A similar collision in Saskatchewan in 2018 resulted in the deaths of 16 people. Such tragedies serve as poignant reminders of the critical need for safety and responsibility on the roads to prevent future disasters.
